Role: Housing Officer


Salary: £31,150


Type: 9 Month Contract - 35 Hours a Week.


Location: Liverpool

The role of Housing Officer will see you deliver face to face customer services in neighbourhoods, work collaboratively with other teams to deliver the neighbourhood plan objectives and ensure our landlord requirements are met.


Key duties include:



  • Regular estate inspections responding to customers with face-to-face visits.

  • Listening to customer views, encouraging resident involvement, and making recommendations for how the organisation can respond

  • Develop effective partnerships with additional front facing service providers operating in the neighbourhoods

  • Provide a comprehensive tenancy management service

  • Carry out visits to customers in arrears and support the Income team



The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Housing laws and regulations as well as experience delivering face to face customer service. Experience of developing partnerships working with support agencies, local authorities and community groups is key as is having an understanding of the economic and political context of the neighbourhoods.


Good IT skills and a Full UK Driving license are essential.
