Adecco have the plesure of working with a well establised companyin Blackpool who are looking for a Business Developemt Executive to join there fast growing company.


� Reports to Account Handler Team Leader

� Liaises with Consultants and specific insurer contacts

Working Relationships:

Overall Objective of Job:

  • Manage and call portfolio of data on CRM platform - to assist in growth of portfolio of clients

  • Liaise with Account Handler Team Leader to ensure on-going high standard of service levels

  • To support one or more Consultants in their efforts to

  • Develop new client opportunities in a manner which is compatible with the principles of "Treating Customers Fairly"

  • Increase new business sales revenue

  • Comply with all regulatory requirements

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain, service and grow existing client base of data giving quality advice, valued contact, ensuring you provide top quality proactive customer service at all times

  • Organise and manage own workload to provide a consistent, high quality service through peaks of pressure.

  • Have appropriate written and telephone contact directly with insurers, whenever appropriate

  • Routinely and consistently follow procedures and compliance requirements, as published, suggesting improvements whenever appropriate.

  • Prioritise and take proactive responsibility for own workload in accordance with the published procedures, including taking ownership of tasks and enquiries, identifying problems and suggesting solutions

  • Keep consultants and line management up dated with progress towards agreed deadlines, and communicate clearly in all directions on work related matters

  • Ensure all client requirements are dealt with promptly and records updated

  • Observe and adhere to TCF responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team and accept a shared responsibility for colleagues' workloads, to ensure that workload imbalances are managed effectively and do not impact negatively on customer service

  • Adhere to the Company's Training and Competency Scheme and maintain an individual development log (IDL)

  • Maintain an agreed level of competency to Company and FCA standards and to maintain continuous professional development in order to maximise potential

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • You will have good organisation skills, be results driven, self motivated and confident.

  • Ideally have experience of outbound telesales environment achieving a minimum 120 good sales calls per day.

  • Previous use of SALESFORCE / CRM databases would be preferable

  • Good IT skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel etc)

Business, Management and Leadership:

  • Good verbal and influencing skills

  • Ability to work superlatively and jointly with colleagues across the business

  • Energy, enthusiasm, a 'can do' attitude and resilience
