New Business Development Manager


Location: Hoxton, London
Salary/Rate: £25,000 - £30,000 + Competitive bonus scheme & company rewards
Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday.


Adecco London City are currently recruiting for a New Business Development Manager to join our well-established creative client based in Hoxton. The successful candidate will be joining an established, rapidly expanding and extremely out-going team.


Your main responsibility will be growing their client base and showcasing their design services. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.


They are looking for a passionate and ambitious professional who will partner with their clients and ensure their long-term success. While managing a portfolio of assigned clients, you'll need to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities, using lead generation techniques.



Job responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Build strong relationships with new account holders and be the main point of contact for all customer service needs.

  • Bring in completely new businesses to the company and build relationships from scratch.

  • Have a sales pipeline approach and manage all the contacts and the process through the CRM system, Hubspot).

  • Follow up with all new leads.

  • Being able to price effectively and negotiate sales to drive maximum profit.

  • Promote products to new and existing clients

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services

  • Develop new business

  • Search for tenders, prepare for tender application documents and pitches

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

  • Managing the day-to-day of the office such as answering phones, welcoming guests, managing live chat communication, scheduling meetings, maintenance.


Personal Specification:



  • Previous experience in the creative industry

  • Proven work experience as a business development manager or account manager

  • Knowledge of CRM systems

  • Understanding of website building platforms (Wordpress, WIX, Shopify) and social media platforms

  • Motivated with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

  • Ambitious and willing to go the extra mile
