Our client based in Bromley is looking for an experienced Children's Occupational Therapist to work in their Occupational Therapy services in Bromley, Which has recently undertaken an OT service review and are expanding and developing their service. It is an extremely supportive team in which adult and children's OTs work together to share knowledge and work towards excellent outcomes for the clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Assessing Children's needs in relation to Social care provision and providing equipment and adaptations to promote independence and safety at home.

- To provide a range of interventions to meet service users needs. These may include teaching new techniques, the provision of standard and specialist requirement and minor and major adaptations to the home.

- Supervise and support staff as agreed with the Line Manager and in line with Council procedures.

- To review interventions provided in relation to meeting service user and carers needs and reassess and provide further intervention as necessary.

- To contribute to service development as appropriate and to undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as required to ensure the efficient and effective running of the department.

Car Driver is essential.
