Position: Office Administrator

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Type: Full time, permanent

Salary/Rate: £20,000 +

Job Description

Adecco City are currently recruiting for a a high-end property business based in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will be company focussed, friendly, professional and well presented with an excellent telephone and interpersonal manner.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manning of the reception, answering incoming calls and direct and screen calls where appropriate

  • Supporting the back-office function & working closely with other departments and Senior Management throughout the business.

  • Look after utility bills for current property portfolio

  • Updating invoices on spreadsheets for payment

  • Booking appointments with vendors for Estate agent valuations

  • Chasing for outstanding documents

  • Administrative tasks as instructed by management teams.

  • Using MS office including Excel, Word and other company programmes daily.

  • Working closely within a team of 5.

  • Preparing boardrooms for meetings (Teas, Coffee & snacks).

  • Any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Ideal candidate and personal qualities:

  • Warm and welcoming but with the strength of character to manage all office users to keep to their high standards.

  • Confident with exemplary organisation skills

  • Ability to prioritise value-add tasks and manage workload by level of importance and urgency

  • Computer literate and able to learn new web-based packages and apps

  • An incredibly self-motivated and highly energetic individual with a passion to learn and contribute

  • Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
