JOB TITLE: Office Manager/HR Coordinator

LOCATIONS: Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Salary: £35K - £40K per annum (Depending on Experience)

HOURS: 40hrs per week


  • Responsible for ensuring the efficient organization & functionality of the local SSO by coordinating multifunctional tasks (Matrix) HR and local administration

  • Responsible for local facility management including building maintenance, working safety, waste management, building security, car fleet and other services, supported by the Finance and Office Administrator.

  • Local operation HR management and coordination with support from Area HRBP and local HR consultant such as recruitment, sickness, on boarding, HR records etc.

  • Ensure HR practices are in line with companies GDPR policy.

  • Support HR activities/external HR consultant for Calibration Technology in Limerick, Ireland.

  • Administering employee benefit schemes including health care, denplan etc.

  • Support local payroll procedures by managing data supplied to the external payroll providers.

  • Work with local Finance & Controlling functions when

  • Prepare documents in legally required local languages in cooperation with the Corporate Functions and the management.

  • Responsible for local Emergency & Health Management working with Health & Safety Officer.

Skills and Competencies

  • Professional experience in an Office Management, Assistance/Secretary and/or HR related roles

  • Experience in collaborating closely with all relevant departments (Human Resources, Management, Finance, Quality etc.)

  • Experience to operate in a matrix environment

  • High degree of reliability, responsibility, independence and resilience
