We are currently supporting our Client based on the outskirts of Kendal to recruit for a Maternity cover, for up to 14 months

The client owns and manages 40 properties which are let to local Businesses and a holiday let. This is an interesting and varied job in the National Park. This is the office function for the management of the properties. There are two maintenance employees.

The ideal Candidate will have experience of Accounts and have experience of using an online Accountancy package such as SAGE. They will also have good customer service skills and ideally some previous PA experience.

The principal duties of this role will be to provide the Accounts function for the business and to oversee the day to day running of the office.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Preparing VAT Returns
* Management of Rent, ensuring rents are paid on time
* Liaising with clients in a confident and professional manner
* Day to day running of the Office, undertaking any related admin
* PA Duties for Owner as and when required
* Taking monthly meter readings from properties
* Payroll for 4 employees

The successful applicant will need to be able to plan and prioritise their own workload, be able to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner,

This position is a full time role working Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, and 9am to 1pm and the Successful Applicant will be expected to start in January 2018 for an estimated 14 month maternity cover.

Annual salary between 28,000 to 35,000 depending on experience
