Adecco Sunderland has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company who is experiencing a period of expansion and is therefore looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team on a permanent/full time basis; based in Sunderland.

My client offers a competitive salary of £27,000.

An exciting opportunity has arisen, for someone who is dynamic, and career orientated, to join the management team in their successful, expanding business.

The ideal candidate will need to be prepared to learn new areas of work and prior experience in some of the following would be advantageous:

  • Team Leadership

  • Office operations, administration and company related activities

  • Supplier and customer liaison

  • Finance e.g. bookkeeping, cash handling and payroll (using a payroll agency),

  • Staff recruitment, induction, training and reviews

  • Development and implementation of performance controls such as KPIs and SOPs

  • Managing services and facilities

  • Management information

  • Project management

  • HR administration

  • Purchasing

  • IT support

  • Support services for our front-line staff

  • Health and safety

  • Rotas and holidays

  • Security

The ideal candidate

This is a highly varied and responsible role, which requires strong IT and organisation skills, adaptability and pro activity to juggle changing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as is a flexible and professional attitude to work.

To be successful you would need to have strong people management skills and be able to develop and sustain a positive work culture.
