This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Recruitment Agencies as an On-site Shift Support based in Tilbury.

Salary - £10.75 [days] £11.75 [nights]

Shifts - Sun to Weds / Weds to Sat

On-Site Support Team's tasks: the On-Site Support Team's main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending mandatory integration and/or "on-boarding" session and assisting the Temporary Worker with the induction sessions for new starters;

  • checking the working attendance of the Temporary Workers and ensuring that the Temporary Workers duly record their working time on the working attendance systems;

  • providing timely feedback to the Temporary Workers, and notifying Amazon when associates ask for coaching assistance related to process performance;

  • attending daily sync meeting with area managers, trainers meetings and weekly Temporary Workers' performance review meetings;

  • the On-site support team is NOT expected to deliver any form of informal feedback (will be managed by Amazon management). However, they shall deliver all formal positive feedback as well as performance management warnings and notices as generated during performance review meetings e.g. ADAPT.

  • dealing with conduct issues related to the Temporary Workers when asked to by Amazon Management;

  • organizing overtime/extra shifts in accordance with applicable laws;

  • constantly monitoring Temporary Workers' safe/unsafe behaviours and reporting any safety incidents involving the Temporary Workers;

  • ensuring that the Temporary Workers are equipped with the protective personal equipment in accordance with the guidelines indicated in article 9 of Annex 1;

  • being present during the rotations of the teams and breaks to keep track of staff, in accordance with the procedures applied in the Premises;

  • being available on the emergency number to be provided to the HR in the Premises to handle HR escalation processes;

  • being available and reachable 24/7 during the Closed Period each year and otherwise during ,operating hours to be agreed with Amazon, providing Amazon the updated contact details of each On-Site Support Team's member;

  • implementing a support phone call service centre reachable daily from 8am to 9 pm;

  • consolidating the relationship between area managers and Temporary Workers;

  • conducting the second week safety audits for new hires from calendar weeks 1 to 34)

  • motivating the Temporary Workers;

  • attending to the "good bye process" (Amazon process to release and thank the Temporary Workers during ramp-down) as defined in coordination with Amazon operations and Amazon human resources team;

  • Conduct all other on-site pastoral and administrative tasks including Return to Work reports, Exit Interviews, annual leave recording, exceptions management, shift and overtime communications and general reporting.

  • inform the Temporary Workers of any change of the working schedule;

  • assist the Temporary Workers with holidays requests and obtainment of the required approvals;

  • provide the Temporary Workers with all work related information, including working schedules, arrival times, break times, etc.

  • assist the Temporary Workers on queries on wage and benefits.
