*Urgently needed: Operations and Warehouse Manager -Pershore Area £30K*

Adecco are currently looking for an Operations and Warehouse Manager for our client based in the Pershore area. Our client is looking for someone to join their fast-paced warehouse full time. The company is well established and experts in their industry. As an Operations and Warehouse Manager you will represent a key role within operations and manufacturing.

Requirements of the role but not limited to the following:

  • Storage and Inventory Management such as: Management of Warehouse Team / Picking Team (Safe, Tidy and everything in its place). Undertaking stock movement of palletised goods using a forklift truck (training provided if necessary). Updating Stock Spreadsheets with Details of Stock Movements. Etc.

  • Picking and dispatching such as: Organisation of Picking Area, ensuring that Production Team have access to uninterpreted, continuity of picked goods to pack, Ensuring Continuity of Dispatch Pallets. Etc.

  • Goods inwards and Internal Logistics such as: Bendi and Counterbalance Training Provided as Required, Goods Inwards Management, Qty and Quality Checks / System Updates, Flagging Non-Arrivals & Discrepancies. Etc.

  • Purchasing: Inventory Control (Location of Goods, Qty), weekly Inventory Checks, Stock Replenishment / Purchase Order Generation.

  • Health and Safety and general management of good housekeeping: Conducting Risk Assessments for Operations Related Activities, Tidy Warehouse / Fire Escapes and Aisles Clear at all times), Fire Marshal / First Aider, Conducting Opening and Closing Checks, Ensuring Waste is properly sorted, removed from production areas, and disposed of etc.

  • Staff Management: Conducting Inductions (for Ops Team), Liaising with External, Employment Agencies (for Ops Team Members), Submission of Time Sheets etc.

  • Peak: Managing the Allocation of Goods by Build, Staging Builds onto Production Line to Ensure Production Continuity (Updating Build Planner with Allocation Status) etc.

  • Due to the nature of the role own transport is essential.

Preferred experience/qualification level of candidate

  • Experience in Warehouse Environment

  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Preferred but training can be provided)

  • Narrow Aisle (Bendi) Forklift Licence (Preferred but training can be provided)

  • Electric Pump-truck License (Preferred but training can be provided)

  • Valid UK Driving License

Pay: £30,000

Hours: *Low Season (January to End of October)
Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 17:30 (or successful collection of goods)

**High Season (Mid-November and December)

Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 18:30 (or successful collection of goods)

Saturday - 08:00 to 16:00

*Shortlisted Candidates will be offered 2-day trial, once successful this will be a permanent role subject to probationary period*
