£45,000 per annum


Monday to Friday

About the role


This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations and Compliance Manager to become an influential part of a well established and reputable organisation based in Central London


The main responsibilities are to oversee the smooth operation and running of the customer services and data processing departments - ensuring the business meets the expectations of its various customers and stakeholders, in addition to overseeing the compliance function of the business.


The candidate will be expected to use management information to improve departmental performance and impact; to communicate effectively; to build and maintain strong working relationships with members of the organisations at all levels; and demonstrate good relationship management with stakeholders.


There will also be scope for the candidate to deliver new products or services they feel would be beneficial to department and the wider organisation. They will have the ability to prioritise the team's workload and negotiate resources. The successful candidate must be passionate about their work - and care about meeting deadlines and achieving targets.


Essential skills



  • Experience in leading teams

  • Previous experience of running day to day operations

  • Competent and comfortable in complaint handling

  • Ability to use initiative and problem solve daily issues

  • Demonstrable experience of data management and analysis

  • A quick learner with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple departments at the same time

  • Understanding of various contractual obligations

  • Experience working with ISO27001 or similar certification

  • A solid understanding and current awareness of legal and regulatory business requirements and best practices

  • Knowledge of setting and keeping the department within budget

  • Self-motivated and keen to develop your own professional skills

  • Ability to present and report at company and board level

  • Able to balance conflicting priorities and work to changing deadlines

  • Able to manage risks whilst maximising opportunities
