Our Client based in Bourne End, are looking for a passionate, highly skilled and innovative Operations Manager to join their expanding team!


The ideal candidate should have clear communication skills, strong organisational skills and be respectful to others!

The Operations Manager will need to deal with:


SALES LEDGER MANAGEMENT



  • Setting up new customers

  • Raising invoices when order is complete and credit notes if required

  • Emailing / Posting invoices to customers

  • Dealing with Customer queries and investigating discrepancies


PURCHASE LEDGER MANAGEMENT



  • Setting up new suppliers

  • Keying suppliers invoices in system

  • Checking suppliers statement against our system

  • Dealing with Supplier queries and investigating discrepancies


CREDIT CONTROL MANAGEMENT



  • Sending statements to customers

  • Contacting customers for payment dates and overdue payments

  • Updating verbal & Email communications in our system

  • Submitting weekly report to FD

  • Identifying any possible financial risks & reporting to FD


STOCK MANAGEMENT & LOGISTICS



  • Stock re-ordering from UK, EU and Overseas suppliers

  • Checking and maintaining stock level of various products for all sales division

  • Day to day contact with our freight forwarders - booking container space for collection of goods from overseas suppliers

  • Updating shipping/sailing movement in house spreadsheet


COORDINATION ADMINISTRATION TEAM



  • Manage and ensure smooth working of all admin colleagues

  • Report to MD & FD re how to help admin, financial & sales departments work together effectively

  • Clear communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Respectful to others
