Our client; an established market leader in their field is looking for an Operations Manager to join their innovative and forward thinking team. To be a success in this role; you will have proven leadership and management experience.

The successful candidate will manage and oversee a Department on a day to day basis consisting of a team of Installation Managers; Surveyors; Installation Contractors; Admin; Purchasing; Scheduling and Customer Services.


  • Responsible for Warehousing and Health and Safety Obligations

  • Ensure that all Safe Working Practices and Policies are understood, followed and enforced at all times

  • Have experience in material control computerised process systems

  • Have previous experience in managing a distribution warehouse

  • Experience in purchasing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers

  • Understand and have knowledge of accounting and the measure of cost

  • Ensure site security and health and safety standards are met.

  • Complete Health and Safety Investigations / Risk Assessments

  • Participate in Health and Safety Meetings when required

  • Identifying new working practices to include both efficiencies and customer services

  • Completing the further digitalisation of our delivery systems to conclude our journey to a paperless process

  • Amalgamating the groups distribution resources to reduce cost and to further drive efficiencies.

  • Continually improve and develop business performance with the constraints of legislation and rising environmental pressures

  • Ensure all processes remain compliant with Health and Safety and Government Guidelines

  • Fully compliant with the Microsoft Platform

The Candidate

  • Experience in warehouse computer systems essential

  • Motivated and driven to achieve results

  • Budgetary experience essential
