Adecco Manchester are extremely proud to be representing the UK's premier manufacturer and supplier of storage, handling and distribution equipment. The company are looking for an Orders Administrator to join their lovely team in Sale, Manchester.



Key responsibilities of the role include:



Order Processing and Customer Service


Receiving customer sales order either via e-mail, telephone or from the Sales Representative.


Entering customer orders into Microsoft Dynamics Nav in a timely and accurate manner ensuring all contractual, legal and business requirements are met, including checking that the customer account is active and that there is adequate credit to cover the order value.


Verifying that customer orders have been completed to a minimum standard to ensure that delivery expectations can be met.


Dealing with customer queries regarding items/delivery/general information and resolving any problems that occur with Customer Orders which may involve liaising with other departments.


Creating new customers in the system and setting up credit limits with HSBC where appropriate.


Making pro-forma arrangements with customers or the sales representative for sales orders where appropriate.


Proactively liaising with Credit Control to check that pro-forma invoices have been paid and arranging for the prompt release of the customer order.


Ensuring that all orders are passed to the Commercial Department once they have been entered into Nav and that order acknowledgements are promptly emailed or posted to the Customer, copying in the relevant Sales Representative.


Filing all order paperwork in the relevant customer files.


Making any required amendments to orders as requested by the Customer, Sales Representative or Commercial department.



General Office Duties


Managing the Sales Representatives emails which involves logging into their accounts, reviewing incoming emails, dealing with anything that they can action, and then filing emails in the relevant Customer files.


Identifying opportunities for process improvement


Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Office Manager or any other person designated in their absence
