Organisational Learning Advisor

Location: London, Holborn

Salary: £16.99

Duration: ASAP, currently until August (high potential of being extended)

Contract type: Temporary

Hours: 35 hours per week (9:30am-5:30pm)

Roles and Responsibilities include:

The role:

The Organisational Learning team sits within the Human Resources Division and is responsible for ensuring that a relevant and supportive development provision is available to employees across the School to meet both individual and organisational needs. Reporting to the Organisational Learning Team Leader the purpose of this role is to work as part of a small, dedicated and professional team and provide support in administration, marketing, reporting and project management across a range of learning and development initiatives and processes. The post holder will need to be flexible and possess a positive and proactive attitude and approach to team working in a heavily customer-focused environment.

Main tasks to attend to:

  • Data gathering for reports

  • Writing marketing materials for training and development activities and the Organisational Learning newsletter

  • Managing the scheduling and admin processes for internal training sessions

  • Managing the scheduling and admin processes for activities which focus on Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing

  • Organisation of training to support key projects at the School

Tasks in more detail:

Training and Development: 40%

  • Ensuring all internally supported courses are planned in liaison with key stakeholders, booked, marketed and attain the required attendance levels within the appropriate timeframes prior to events.

  • Supporting the work of the Organisational Learning Team Leader and Policy Team to plan, organise and market a programme of activities that focus on mental health and wellbeing.

  • Supporting the work of the Future Ways of Working Project, which supports the return of staff to campus and working in a new hybrid environment, by planning, organising and marketing training that supports the outcomes of the project.

  • Supporting the Organisational Learning Team Leader with leadership development programmes through the coordination of the logistics e.g. liaising with delegates, liaising with external training providers, planning the end of programme event, including catering orders, preparation of supporting materials, room bookings.

Communications/Marketing: 30%

  • To manage the communications from the OL team including a bi-monthly team newsletter

  • Writing Staff News articles for project areas

  • Drafting additional marketing emails to advertise initiatives or courses as required

  • Designing web pages including drafting content

System Management/Reporting: 30%

  • Using the School's bespoke online Training and Development System to advertise courses, record and monitor delegate information and run reports.

  • Use the Training and Development System to organise and analyse data for use in reports as requested by other areas of the School.
