Our client, a housing organisation whose goals are to deliver better repairs, safer homes, and ensure their homes are secure, warm and dry for their residents are currently recruiting for an efficient and highly motivated Personal Assistant to support the Director of Asset Management in delivering this vision.



  • Location: Kings Cross

  • Pay: £16.99-£18.68 per hour

  • Hours: Mon-Fri, 35 hours p/week

  • Duration: Until April 2020

  • Start Date: ASAP


Role accountabilities:



  • Provide high quality, professional and comprehensive executive support services to the Director, including secretarial and administrative support day to day

  • Use initiative and work independently to resolve issues or problems (at times without Director's involvement), ensuring the effective and efficient management of the Director's work programme.

  • Provide effective diary management, email monitoring, arrangement of travel/accommodation if required.

  • Represent the Director in a professional and confident manner, managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

  • Provide effective day to day handling of confidential and sensitive material/documents/information.

  • Undertake research or lead on projects on behalf of the Director where appropriate

  • Generate reports, presentations, policy papers and routine correspondence as required either for or on behalf of the Director

  • Plan and organise meetings, workshops, meetings etc. as required

  • Ensure Director is well prepared for meetings and events by providing papers/documents in good time.

  • Efficiently keep information/filing/database systems up to date, including budget monitoring, providing administrative support on financial processes, e.g. purchase orders, invoices etc.


Role Profile:



  • Be accountable for the accuracy and completeness of your work, remaining calm under pressure, making informed and reasonable decisions

  • Track record of success in an administrative role; meeting challenging objectives and delivering personal performance that exceeds expectations and targets

  • Effective IT skills including advanced MS Office skills, with experience or ability to use other databases/systems, such as HR systems

  • Strong intellect with the ability to analyse complex data, review alternative solutions and reach speedy, well-formed conclusions.

  • Be well prepared and resourceful

  • Ready to take on new challenges

  • Use your initiative to solve problems

  • A confident communicator
