  • To undertake a full range of administrative duties including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mailing, post and telephone enquiries in a professional manner and to a consistently high standard.

  • To plan and implement the recruitment process e.g. creating Job adverts, scheduling interviews, booking rooms and creating interview packs.

  • Handle information of a personal, private or commercially sensitive nature with complete confidentiality.

  • To manage shared inboxes, acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries, and ensuring emails from internals and externals are responded to in a timely and professional manner.

  • Proactively manage and co-ordinate diaries Heads of service, as directed, and managing meeting requests as necessary, ensuring that diary commitments are well balanced.

Organise internal and external visits and all associated administration, such as room bookings, catering arrangements, booking parking and meeting visitors.

  • Assist in Committee and meeting management including room, hospitality and travel arrangements, the preparation and circulation of agendas and papers, taking and recording of minutes, following up on actions, dissemination of information, and ensuring Team members /senior staff are prepared and briefed. Attend meetings off-campus on an occasional basis.
