Adninistration Assistant - Part time 3 month contract

Woking for a local town council this role is to support the Town clerk with a wide range of admin duties which include:-

  • Taking incoming calls and emails from the public in relation to toilet facilities, waste collection services, parks and recreation facilities, allotments, parking and library facilities.

  • Updating records and calls to action.

  • Scheduling meetings and visits

  • Supporting with filing and processing of correspondence

  • Directing specific enquiries

  • Any other administration duties necessary to support the council members

The ideal candidate will have experience in:-

  • Dealing with members of the public

  • updating CRM systems

  • Daily use of office 365 and associated software such as outlook and teams

  • Working in the public sector

  • knowledge of Quickbooks would be an advantage but is not essential
