Adecco has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Administration Co-ordinator, working for a successful construction company based on the outskirts of York.



The purpose of the Co-ordinator role is;



  • Provide administrative support service to the Construction Department as required under the direction of the Regional Construction Director and Office Manager.

  • Part of the Office Admin team and to undertake any other admin task as required to ensure the smooth running of the region including receptionist and secretarial duties.



Your responsibilities will include;



  • Provide administrative support service to the Construction Department as required under the direction of the Regional Construction Director and Office Manager.

  • Part of the Office Admin team and to undertake any other admin task as required to ensure the smooth running of the region including receptionist and secretarial duties.

  • Maintain departmental Manager's diary and log movements of other members of the department. Arrange meetings and appointments as required.

  • Attendance at meetings to take minutes, including meeting room management, refreshments, lunch etc and to reinstate the room.

  • Maintain holiday and absence records for the departments ensuring authorised forms are processed and forwarded to Office Manager.

  • Hotel and travel bookings.

  • Liaise with client's construction staff and assist with any issues they have and inputting any timesheet forms to payroll.



The successful Administration Co-ordinator will;



  • Need to be able to work under pressure as timescales require to be achieved.

  • Need to be a self-starter and work under own initiative.

  • Be able to Multi-task

  • Possess precision and accuracy are most important as in all secretarial appointments.



This role is a long-term temporary role until the end of October.


Pay Rate is £9.50 to £11.00 dependant on experience.


Hours would be Tuesday to Thursday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with an hour for lunch. These hours can be flexible for the purpose of fitting with school drop off and pick-ups.
