Part-Time Finance Team Administrator

Our client, a charity organisation are looking for an administrator to provide administrative support to the Committee Finance Team and to respond to internal and external queries promptly and effectively.

  • Location: Vauxhall

  • Pay: £9.91 per hour

  • Hours: Part-Time, 20.5hrs per week

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: 2 Weeks +

Job Description

  • Dealing with queries by phone and email from Committee Treasurers & Fundraising managers

  • Assist the Committee Finance Manager with the centralised banking project work

  • Assist the Committee Finance Manager with Ad-hoc project work

  • Administration support for bank accounts by monitoring balances and general administration

  • Manage the archive, receipt book and paying in book processes and maintain other relevant documentation and records

  • Log and bank cheques on a weekly basis, or as required

  • Accurate input on all department spreadsheets and CRM

  • Support the setting up and disbanding of Committees and Fundraising Groups

  • Team administration including departmental post opening and distribution, franking post (including recorded delivery items), logging of cheque items, dealing with confidential post

  • Ad-hoc administration duties and support to the Committee Finance Team as required

  • Familiar with and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures

  • Any other duties as reasonably required in line with skills and experience to contribute to wider success

To do this role, you will have…

  • Excellent knowledge of a range of IT systems, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent knowledge of financial administration, cash handling or general office administration

  • Strong team player

  • Ability to organise and manage own workload

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
