Payroll and Finance Assistant

Location: Stratford, East London

Salary: £27,000-30,000

We have a rare career opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join the finance team of a well-established charity in their retail division. This particular team's focus is on accounts payable and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end payroll processing and will be able to bring a fresh perspective to streamline the payroll process.

Duties of the role:

  • Assist with payroll queries and with processing of the monthly payroll via Payrite for approx. 500 employees

  • Assist with the managing and maintaining the auto-enrolment process for pensions

  • Raising invoices and seeking approval of supplier invoices

  • Managing and monitoring the retail finance mailbox
