Adecco Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Group Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join a fantastic global engineering company based in the Croydon Borough.


Processes the group payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Creates and maintains accurate employees' payroll records. Enters payroll information into system for processing for the payroll bureau. Enters the monthly payroll journals into the ERP system.

Payroll Job Duties:

  • Processes company's payroll every pay period for the Group which includes UK, Europe and International.

  • Maintains monthly payroll system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data to Payroll Bureau

  • Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, and any other queries

  • Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences

  • Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant changes to the law, this may include assisting updating company payroll policy as directed.

  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records which includes overtime and any other queries

  • Completes payroll journals into the ERP system


The role also involves a reliable Group Benefits administrator to manage all employee benefit programs across the group companies from leave of absence to retirement plans. Your work will be of utmost importance since the correct processing and distribution of benefits is vital for employee retention and satisfaction.


  • Design and manage benefit programs (insurance, wellness etc.)

  • Evaluate and negotiate with service providers (e.g. private insurance company, pension company, etc)

  • Update and reconcile monthly pension uploads accordingly

  • Assume responsibility of timely payment of monthly premiums

  • Manage enrolments and determine employee eligibility

  • Handle all benefit compensation and reimbursement procedures

  • Inform employees of their benefit options and plans and monitor use

  • Collaborate with Finance department for payments and deductions

  • Manage and complete P11'ds

  • Manage and complete all the administration in relation to the group benefits


We are looking for candidates who have proven experience working within a payroll function and a strong knowledge of company benefit schemes.

Hours: Monday - Friday 09.00am - 17.30pm

Location: Croydon

Salary: Circa £25,000PA

Benefits: 25 days' annual leave (although 3 to be held for Christmas period when they close), Pension, Income Protection, Private Health Care, Season Ticket Loan, Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to work scheme, Employment Recruitment Scheme.
