Payroll and Benefits Adviser - Hybrid role

The Payroll & Benefits Advisor at Just provides key support to the Group Reward team, covering payroll, benefits and wellbeing. The role will advise and support managers and employees on all payroll and benefit related matters ensuring the prompt and accurate payment of employees in line with HMRC regulations. In addition, the role will support delivery of the wellbeing such as the planning of events or launch of new initiatives.

Key Activities

  • Maintain monthly payroll, including collating data for starters, leavers, employee benefits and salary sacrifice.

  • Ensure all payroll data is accurate and that all audit records are correct.

  • Manage and conduct regular checks to ensure accuracy of payroll database.

  • Assist with ad hoc projects.

  • Administration of New Starters, Leavers, Contractual Changes, Statutory Payments, absence, overtime.

  • Accurately processing and checking of payroll related data in Workday.

  • Administration of the Groups Pension Scheme & auto enrolment compliance, ensuring accurate deductions & payments are made.

  • Completion of all payroll & benefit reconciliations.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist with tax year-end in line with HMRC reporting requirements, including P60's and P11D's.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong payroll knowledge

  • Exposure to Workday would be desirable.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Knowledge of Auto enrolment.

Location: Reigate - 40% hybrid

Full Time - 35 hours
