Duties include:

-Operate monthly payroll in timely and accurate fashion

-Manage relationship with external payroll bureaus

-Gather source data, populate input file and hit deadlines

-Maintain workings to support and calculate sales commissions and bonuses

-Calculating external credit control bonuses

-Post appropriate journals in the system to respective costs center's

-Calculating accruals and updating system

-Prepare files to send to Group

-Responsible for timely payment of PAYE to HMRC

-Upkeep of spreadsheets recording payments & reconciling to General Ledger.

-Work alongside HR to monitor sickness, absence and holiday rates

-Payroll reconciliation to General Ledger

-Payment of pension contributions by due date and updating system.

-Auto enrolment/liaising with pension provider

-Bank Transfers

-P46 car - Update Tax shield with employee new / replacement vehicles- Liaise with our Fleet manager if necessary.

-Assisting with Budget preparation

-Assisting with UK Audit

-Absence & Holiday cover on Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger

The ideal candidate will have an accountancy qualification such as AAT, have solid experience of payroll and additional financial tasks, be very computer literate in particular in MS Excel.
