An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and friendly payroll clerk to join our public sector client based in Newcastle Under Lyme. The successful applicant will be responsible for the handling of important information such as timesheets and expenses and will be required to input data in an effective and timely manner, whilst following correct processes. Other tasks will involve the distribution of incoming / outgoing documents, handling queries via email and telephone and to escalate where required and to scan/ file relevant documents for the department where appropriate.
You will need to be a self motivated individual with the ability to prioritise your own workload. This is a temporary role for 12 weeks initially to then be reviewed. Full time working hours Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Rate pf pay from £9.65ph.
