Our client is one of the world's largest Insurance Groups. On behalf of this organisation, Adecco are recruiting for a Payroll Consultant on a 6 months contract with possible extension and permanent opportunities. This role will be a remote based with occasional requirement to work in their Swindon office.
Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of pay: £26,500 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
- Hours of work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible working available
- Duration: 6 months initially
Purpose of the Role:
This role will be based with the People Service function, and you will be responsible for various payroll and controls activities. This may include: invoicing, reconciliations, journal completion, payroll run and corrections.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the team with day-to-day payroll queries and resolving any payroll related discrepancies
- Responsible for completing and processing pre-payroll run
- Finance reconciliations including pension reconciliations
- Updating HMRC changes and processing P45's, P60's and other documents
- Maintaining and updating the payroll system including reporting
The Candidate:
In order to be successful in this role you will have possessed all or some of the below criteria:
- Demonstrate experience of working in a payroll function or relevant finance experience
- Knowledge of SAP would be essential
- IT literate, ability to use a range of different software's including Microsoft Office products
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
- Strong verbal and excellent written communication skills
- Effective team player who is dynamic and has ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Quick to learn new tasks / follow instructions
