  • Experience of working within a Payroll or HR Administration role

  • Have a good knowledge of all Microsoft packages

  • Understanding of the importance of accuracy in transnational areas

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, and follow procedures

  • Ability to apply quality standards to all tasks undertaken

  • Excellent communications skills


JOB PURPOSE
Provide transactional processing services in Payroll to support effective delivery of front line services.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Process Payroll transactions, using SAP where appropriate, to agreed standards and targets.


Create, maintain and process documentation, records and data to agreed procedures and standards.


Receives and resolves queries from employees/ managers and/or external individuals/bodies, as referred by 1st Line Support.

Receive and resolve queries from a senior member of the team, which may include liaison with internal and external customers within set guidelines and parameters, to ensure the smooth operation of the process.
Assist with project work related to specialist area with guidance from Team Leader.
Assist Officers with transactional work when required.

Contribute to and recommend changes and improvements to develop the level of service provided by the team to the services


Ensure consistency and integrity of data is maintained both within SAP and other supporting systems.
Assist the team to develop and maintain appropriate systems and processes.
Provide information and reports to support analysis and decision-making in the Services.
