My client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to process the organisation's payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Create and maintain employees' payroll records. Calculate wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records. Enter payroll information into central system for processing, Issue employees' checks and earnings summaries and complete payroll reports.




Job Duties


� Processes company's payroll every pay period- 630 employees that is including Warehouse/Office employees


� Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data


� Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes


� Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records


� Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences


� Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles


� Involvement with calculating and processing Furlough payments



Skills/Experience Required:


� Microsoft Excel experience is a must with creating formulas, v-look ups etc. Pegasus Opera for Payroll, E-days for holidays/Absences records, TNA (Time and Attendance) for employee clocking and XRL to run reports on Microsoft Excel. Experience these systems are desirable, however there would be training


� Excellent Mathematical Skills, Accounting and Bookkeeping Skills,


� Attention to Detail, Organisation Skills,


� Good Verbal Communication with Employees


� Capable of Working with Minimal Supervision



Working Hours - 38 hours over 5 days (Mon-Thurs 08:30 to 5:00pm with 45 minutes lunch and Fri 08:30 to 4:00pm with 30 minutes lunch).
