Our Medical client is currently recruiting for a People Advisor, start ASAP, duration 3 months, pay £14.67ph-£18.01ph, Hours: 9am - 5pm, 37.5 per week, location is based on site in North London.


Due to the nature of the client you may be required to go through a DBS clearance ahead of starting.


JOB SUMMARY:


To support the work of the People Services Team for a designated Division by providing high level generalist support, guidance, action and advice in the areas of:



  • Employee Relations - application of key People Related Policies i.e. Discipline, Organisational Change, Grievance, Attendance, Flexible Working, etc

  • People Related Governance - DBS, Right to Work, Professional Registration & Fixed Term Contracts

  • Recruitment and Job Evaluation

  • People Related Projects


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • To provide advice and recommendations to managers on Agenda for Change terms and conditions of employment.

  • To provide advice and recommendations to managers on employment legislation and contractual issues as appropriate.

  • To provide advice and recommendations to managers on the application of employment policies, including flexible working, special leave and absence.

  • To provide advice to managers in handling employee relations issues such as discipline, grievance, attendance and capability ensuring timely, effective and consistent outcomes are reached.

  • To act as the Human Resources representative at formal investigation meetings and hearings, including arranging the meetings (disciplinary hearings, change management processes, capability hearings etc).

  • To work with the HR Manager to monitor and audit key performance indicators (workforce information, attendance/ absence, ER cases, appraisal, vacancy, bank usage and turnover) to provide robust information and analysis on HR related areas which will assist the divisions to improve their performance including identifying problem areas.

  • To work with the HR Manager on change related projects providing HR expertise in respect of role design, skill mix, communication and consultation.

  • To ensure that employee relations information is updated on the Employee Relations Case Tracker and ESR at all times.
