My client, a non-departmental public body dedicated to the healthcare system and charities space, is looking for a People and Organisation Development Manager to join them on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is a new opportunity to join a team operating on a hybrid working pattern with flexible working hours and excellent opportunities for professional development. The successful candidate will continue the newly established People and Organisational Development strategy by working collaboratively and encouraging an organisational culture that supports behaviours and effective ways to work that prove their commitment to their values, mission, and vision.

Job Purpose

To provide Maternity Cover for our Head of People and Organisational Change. This will involve but is not limited to the following key areas:
* To ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with our ongoing culture improvement plan to continue to move the organisation forward towards being the "Best Place to Work".
* Support the implementation of our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion development, working with an external provider to oversee the effective delivery of the project and ensure that all deadlines and commitments are fulfilled both internally and externally.
* To oversee the design and facilitate staff conferences and events, planning content in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team, and the Chief Executive Officer.
* To continue the development of our staff working groups and lead them where needed to ensure that they provide a space for staff consultation and culture development.


* Contribute to the development of our culture through role modelling our values and the behaviours which drive this culture.
* Undertake initiatives including research and diagnostics to maximise the engagement of all employees and build organizational commitment to the desired culture.
* To oversee and manage ongoing commitment to EDI.
* Support and advise the Senior Leadership Team on organizational change management, providing advice and support to the wider organization.
* Help implement strategies to facilitate our organizational culture goals, working to make us an employer of choice.
* Help ensure that we are an equitable and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and can thrive through training, coaching, and overall strategy and practice.
* To provide expertise, coaching, advance, and guidance to support, enable and impact performance.
* Coordinate the delivery and scheduling of Learning and Development across the organization, seeking out training opportunities and identifying training needs in line with the cultural development program.
* To lead an integrated People service that delivers business goals through engaging people‐focused policies and best-in-class practices.
* To champion the People agenda across the organization.


* CIPD qualified or relevant experience in the field of Learning & Development.
* Strategic understanding, and operational delivery, of people agendas and best-in-class practices covering, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, talent management and organizational change, culture change, and development.
* Fluent in change management strategies and best practices; proven success in implementing change across an organization.
* Excellent Coaching Skills.
* A strong team focus and excellent relationship-building skills.
* Good interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.
* Strong IT skills.
* Confident and effective communication and engagement.


The post holders would be required to attend the office in Warwick on a hybrid model and flexible working Part-time; or full-time preferably.
