Adecco are currently recruiting for a Performance & Risk Analyst (Interim) to work remotely for a South-West London local authority.

Working remotely


Full time (negotiable)


Temporary role - 3 months (possible extension)


£16.29 per hour PAYE / £20.13 per hour Umbrella


Kingston Council requires an experienced analyst to support the Corporate Performance and Risk Manager to;



  • Provide support on performance and risk management and build performance and risk management capability across the council. Working with service teams to develop insight performance reporting arrangements to inform service planning and develop performance management initiatives

  • Develop and maintain communication channels at all levels across the council in order to raise awareness and usage of performance and risk management techniques.

  • Gather data and the supporting narrative to inform quarterly performance reports and to monitor delivery against the Corporate Plan priorities and aligned to budget monitoring.

  • Coordination of Corporate Risk Register, escalations and quarterly risk reporting to the Strategic Leadership Team and strategic committees.

  • Maintain relevant information systems in support of these activities

  • Working closely with directorate teams to ensure that corporate risks are identified, assessed and managed

  • Provide assurance that the council's priorities are being delivered through effective performance and risk management arrangements


We are looking for a person with a proven background in working for a local authority and familiar with the responsibilities of a performance and risk management function. The successful candidate will have a high level of expertise with information technology and a good understanding of data management together with a meticulous approach to work. The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks is essential.

  • Experienced in IT for everyday use as part of the job. Knowledge and experience of using G-suite products particularly Google Sheets and Data Studio

  • Communicate clearly, confidently and appropriately with colleagues using the best methods of communication for the task.
