JOB TITLE: Performance Specialist - Adult Social Care
LOCATION: Working remotely, some travel to the office in Croydon may be required
PAY RATE: £473 per day (Umbrella)
DURATION: Initial 4 month contract with potential extensions
IR35 STATUS: Inside

Purpose of the role:

  • Leading the Health, Wellbeing, Adults & Housing Performance Team, overseeing the design and production of a suite of performance tools to provide high quality data and insight.

  • Delivering the evidential base required for the development of policy, strategic planning and commissioning activity to allow evidence based decision making.

  • To monitor performance and highlight areas of under performance providing guidance on business improvement.

  • The role is responsible for ensuring that the council meets it requirements to external regulators, ensuring the data provided is of good quality and in leading in the completion and submission of the relevant statutory returns to time.

Essential knowledge:

  • Specialist knowledge of Adult Social Care including Statutory Returns

  • High level SAP Business Objects and MS Power BI Skills

  • Detailed knowledge or understanding of statistical techniques

Essential skills and abilities:

  • High level SAP Business Objects and MS Power BI Skills

  • A detailed knowledge in the working and data tabulation of case management systems

  • Experience of delivering high quality intelligence and performance information that has effectively informed service planning.

Essential experience:

  • Significant expertise and experience in delivering performance related and high quality intelligence and analysis services and stimulating performance improvement within Adult Social Care

  • Ability to analyse statistical and performance data and use it to support evidence based decision making.

  • Experience of working within a matrix management environment to contribute to departmental and organisational outcomes.

  • Demonstrable problem solving skills with a proven ability to achieve results.

  • Effective communication skills to a range of stakeholders.

  • Ability to interpret complex guidance and legislation and convey requirements in an easy and understandable format.
