Are you a Personal Assistant with experience working at director level and seeking a new role and are you available to start as soon as possible?

Our client, one of the largest insurance and investment companies in the world are seeking a Personal Assistant to join their office in central London.

The role requires personal assistant experience including diary management, hotel bookings, expenses, administration duties, printing and meeting room management and other skills associated with supporting senior members of staff.

Pay rate: £18 per hour
Location: Central London

Duration: 2 Months

Job Description:

  • Provide PA and secretarial support to a number of leaders at both Director and F level

  • Ensures the efficient running of the offices of the leader/s they support through

  • Effective inbox, diary, telephone, and meetings management

  • Travel and accommodation arrangements using corporate systems, ensuring within policy guidelines

  • The implementation and maintenance of appropriate paper/online filing systems for the offices of the leader's they support

  • Create and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external contacts

  • Quickly develop strong understanding of the priorities for the leader/s they support as well as the business/functional areas, and their current and future book of work to be able to anticipate future needs / activities and prioritise accordingly

Key Skills/ Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an office/corporate environment ideally in an administrative/PA role

  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of standard MS Office software e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and telephone manner

  • Planning, prioritisation, time management and organisation

  • Good general education, minimum A-level or equivalent

It is critical that the role holder demonstrates a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Please note: Due to the client agreements in place a full vetting procedure with an SLA of 15 days is normally required prior to start.

In this instance due to the fast start being sought the client is requesting a waiver to try to shorten this 15 day SLA to allow the successful candidate a faster start but the full on-boarding process will involve a credit check, referencing and a criminal record check that will be conducted in the first few weeks of the role if this waiver is granted.
