PIP2 Investigator

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a PIP2 Investigator to join Devon & Cornwall Police for a period of 3 months. This position is full time and will be based out of Exeter Police Station. You will be investigating serious and complex crimes, dealing with victims, offenders and witnesses for Level 1 and 2 crimes.

Your duties will include:

• Safeguarding and protecting vulnerable people


• Investigating and detecting crime and bring offenders to justice


• Managing victims, interviewing offenders


• Preparing papers for court


• Completing appropriate risk assessments


• Attending and managing crime scenes

Requirements:

• PIP2 qualified - no need to hold current registration


• A detailed understanding of the criminal justice system


• Proven ability to deliver to tight timescales


• Full UK driving licence


• Proven experience interviewing suspects, victims and witnesses
