Planner/Buyer- Brandon- £30,000-£35,000



We are currently recruiting for a Planner/Buyer on behalf of our client based in Brandon, this is a great opportunity to join a great team!



Salary: £30,000-£35,000


Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30am-17:00pm (37.5)



Job Responsibilities




  • Create & maintain SAGE system data for use in the planning and buying processes.

  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels and advise on excess or obsolete inventory

  • Create and place purchase orders for floor controlled inventory

  • Create and place planned orders from MRP output in a timely fashion

  • Manage & expedite Purchase Orders

  • Manage and take day-to-day ownership of Suppliers.

  • Identify and inform operational management & Accounts of potential risks to supply



What we are looking for?



  • Ideally 5 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Preferably to have some supervisory experience.

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills

  • Excellent organisation skills, able to adapt well to changing priorities.

  • Comfortable with both volume and variety - keep it simple approach.

  • Experience working with SAGE or similar ERP or MRP system.
