An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Graduate, ideally with some experience within an administration role who wants to gain an entry role into Planning & Building Control.

The Planning and Building Control Support Officer is working for a very prestigious development and construction company.

Based in beautiful light open plan offices with amazing panoramic views across London.

The ideal candidate will

  • Be educated to degree level

  • Be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other software packages to record and manage data

  • Have proven experience of communicating in person, via telephone and in writing

  • Be able to think and work proactively and autonomously with minimum direct supervision

  • Have scrupulous attention to detail with regard to technical aspects of operational processes and practices, accuracy of records and reports, efficiency and accuracy around schedule and diary management

  • Have a cooperate approach to managing own responsibilities

This role is integral to the business, and sometimes demanding.

The salary is 25-30K dependant on experience

35 hours per week: Monday- Friday


  • Provide proactive, knowledgeable Planning and Building Control business support service to external and Internal customers and Stakeholder

  • To contribute towards the implementation of a working culture that is result-orientated and customer-focused

  • Undertake a full range of operational business and administrative tasks (with minimal supervision) in order to support the work of the Planning and Building service, these include:

    • Accurate receipting, recording and validating Planning and Building Control applications

    • Planning and Building Control record management

    • Administration of Planning appeals

    • Administration of the Planning and Building Control services email inbox

    • Managing and taking payments from customers
