My client, based in Bolton, is currently sourcing for someone to work in Operations/ Inventory Management team, assisting in achieving business objectives. Ensuring correct levels of inventory and operational work flow maintained. Involved in supplier ordering, purchase order management, customer order fulfilment, inbound container management, tracking and reporting.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Container Management through liaison with 3PL transport and warehouse.

  • Inbound delivery management ensuring accurate and prompt delivery dates.

  • Maintenance of system information and parameters.

  • Processing requisitions for purchase orders for suppliers.

  • Chasing suppliers for required products and gaining accurate lead times.

  • Reschedule products ensuring stocking targets are achieved.

  • Re-allocation of stock to ensure optimum order fulfilment.

  • Constant liaison with Warehouse, Line managers, suppliers and customers.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Constant high standard of Written and Verbal communication.

  • IT Skills - High Standard of MS Office required.

  • SAP or Inventory management preferred.

  • Stock management and forecasting experience preferred.

  • Supplier and Accounts management preferred.
