Primary Service Executive



Full time, Monday - Friday


Two shifts to choose or weekly rotation 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00


Duration: ASAP start date, 3 months - with possibility to be extend

About the Team



The Primary team sits within Distribution. The team are responsible for ensuring our orders are delivered to the destination on time and in the most efficient way possible.


Working collaboratively with our Suppliers, Hauliers, Consolidators, Commercial, Supply Chain & Company DC's, Primary continually strive for more efficient ways of distribution.



The Role - Primary Service Executive


Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the company business, the following provides an overview of the role's key responsibilities and measures:


� Working alongside members of the Primary Distribution team to help support company suppliers and Primary hauliers to deliver cost effective and efficient supply chain solutions


� Collaborating cross functionally with our Suppliers, Hauliers, Distribution Centres, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance teams to improve and deliver great service levels


� Delivering day to day operations, including responding to customer queries on orders, reporting and auditing, to ensure a smooth running of the department


� Supporting Managers to grow the Primary Distribution network


� Using data to analyse and spot trends to meet KPI targets and make improvements to our network


� Leading change and development to drive simplification of routines, including databases and supporting tools


� Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence



Key Skills and Experience


� Numeric and data analysing ability


� Strong Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and modelling skills


� Understanding of Transport / Distribution networks would be an advantage


� Demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively and build solid working relationships


� Providing a high level of Customer Service


� Attentive to detail


� Effective problem-solving skills


� Personable, engaging and articulate


� Flexibility, ability to manage multiple and competing priorities, responsiveness


� Resilience
