Well established firm in Stockport looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the team. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated solicitor/legal executive with ambition to work in a private client department.

Salary is £32,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

The role will require fee earning work, working independently and as a part of a team, maintaining existing relations with the firm's clients and assisting with development of new relationships.

You will be able to prioritise and accept interruptions to planned workload in order to deal with urgent issues. You should be a good team player and be able to demonstrate compassion and commitment to the needs of our clients.

Key Tasks

  • To undertake fee earning work, working both independently and as a member of the team and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department.

  • To maintain existing relations with the firm's clients and assist and help develop new relationships with third party referrers.

  • Conduct private client and related matters on behalf of clients.

  • Drafting of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and dealing with Trust and Estate Administration.

  • Management of support services for which you are responsible, including supervision of support staff.

  • Willing to participate in the growth and future development on the department
