My client is looking to welcome 2 process operators on a temporary basis until September 2020.

To assist in the manufacturing processes, working to the required standards to deliver production plans.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operates the manufacturing process to the required quality and safety standards and relevant operating procedures.

  • Undertakes appropriate plant maintenance to ensure efficient and effective operation of plant

  • Maintains required standards of plant housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient working practices.

  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of the role and supports wider continuous improvement activities.

The ideal candidates will have:

Experience working in a manufacturing/hazardous environment where safety is a key priority

Experience of working in a busy team, delivering to plan and adhering to strict processes and procedures

Able to problem solve and troubleshoot within remit of own role.

Please note that:

  • Due to the physical nature of the role, role holder must be capable of carrying out physical work often strenuous, lifting, stairs and working in confined spaces.

  • The role involves 24/7 shift working.

5 GCSEs including English and Maths at minimum of Grade C, or equivalent is essential
