Procurement Administrator

Adecco Wellingborough is currently recruiting for the below procurement role based in Park Farm Industrial Estate, Wellingborough.

Procurement Specialist-

Salary: 21-23k per annum (DOE)

Temp to Perm Role

Hours: Monday- Thursday 8:30am-5pm / Friday 8:30am-4pm - 37.5 hours

Starting as soon as Wednesday after interviewing tomorrow (15/06)

Based in Park Farm

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring each purchase is looked at commercially and procured correctly for cost and quality.


• Chasing suppliers to ensure that the materials are received, monitoring and organising the replacement materials for any rejected items


• General administration duties


• Rejects and organises the supply of replacement materials and return of rejected materials


• All employees may on occasions be reasonably requested to undertake assignments that may fall outside of their normal working hours.


• Ensure price files are kept up to date


• Run daily stock reports


• Deal with office consumables orders


• Document Control


• Order office consumables


• Create part numbers on Sage


• Assist with other tasks within the purchasing department when required

Skills Required:

• Qualification in Business or Administration is desirable


• Previous experience in buying environment


• PC literate with experience of using MS Office (Office, SAGE, MRP, CRM)


• Excellent communication skills and a clear telephone manner are essential


• Team player and willing to assist colleagues when required


• Possess good organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise effectively


• Excellent negotiating skills


• Being self motivated, proactive and dynamic


• Be an analytical thinker


• Be able to risk manage effectively


• Be flexible to meet demands of the role
