Based in the Northeast of England

Up to £46,814 per annum + flexible working, 29 days AL + Bank holidays, health & dental plans, life assurance, employee discounts and more

Who are you?

  • Public Sector Procurement experienced and knowledgeable of PCR2015

  • Qualified in or heading towards CIPS Level 6 or demonstrable work experience

  • Experience of working with multiple categories including IT, Assets etc. or a happy procurement generalist

  • A confident communicator able to work with multiple stakeholders

What will you be doing?

This role is combination of hands-on procurement and business engagement with a particular focus on the organisations IT requirement but don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in other categories and projects too! You will be responsible for engaging with your stakeholders and working with them from specification right through to award, being a true business partner as well as a subject matter expert and lead.

This role is supported by a wider team and Procurement Specialists/Officers in a collaborative environment. As an organisation they are operating flexibly meaning they do not tie down their employees to x amount of time in the office each week, rather they access the diary and requirements to ensure if you're in the office, there is a reason why. They are also output driven meaning if you have commitments and need to manage your hours in the week differently, they can accommodate that. As an added bonus, the company gets Friday afternoons off every week finishing at 12.30pm.
