An EXCITING and rewarding opportunity has arisen to work for a big client who are looking to bring in someone who has strong negotiation and project work experience. The successful applicant will have a brief to deliver best value for money by effective management of Property and Facilities Management Spend.



Responsibilities



  • Be recognised as the SME for Property, Facilities and Asset Management related spend.

  • Delivery and reporting of cost benefits against agreed targets

  • Ensuring that cost benefits are agreed and signed off by business stakeholders and Finance.

  • Identification and implementation of benefits resulting from cross divisional synergies.

  • Engagement with stakeholders to ensure that procurement category strategies are aligned with business objectives and priorities.

  • Effective supplier management, relationship (SRM) and performance (SPM), to ensure that supplier's deliver contractual obligations but also seek and deliver continual improvement opportunities.

  • Ensuring that the sourcing, contracts and R2P agreed with suppliers are aligned with procurement policies, procedures, governance and values.


Experience needed



  • Experience of property and facilities procurement and category management across a wide and diverse portfolio

  • Experience of creating and negotiating contracts

  • Track record of delivering cost benefits and improvements

  • Ability to identify and deliver innovative solutions

  • Experience of delivering enhanced value from supplier management

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • Ability to develop and manage collaborative business relationships both internally and externally

  • Strong business acumen / commercial astuteness

  • Resilience


Details



  • Contract until March 2022 with possible extension for 12 months

  • Full time

  • Work from home (some travel may be included)

  • ASAP start

  • Office hours Mond - Friday 9-5pm
