engaged and self-motivated individual to fulfil a Local Procurement Representative position.


About the Role



The successful candidate will be the point of contact for internal stakeholders with the UK


business. You will be responsible for providing advice for any procurement related queries and


helping to support the wider procurement team.



Key responsibilities



  • Single point of contact for procurements related topics for ALUK.

  • Present the Procurement organisation to all UK entities and supporting with purchase

  • Regularly updates users of new developments in processes i.e new catalogues, new

  • ways of purchasing etc.

  • Handle user queries, provide advice and educate the user in how to use the portal when

  • the product/service is available on e-catalogues.

  • Provide support to requesters on how to identify buying channels and issue a purchase

  • requisition in the systems.

  • Support on training as and when required.

  • Oversee and support the purchase requisitions process.

  • Acknowledge and analyse the content of purchase requisitions and provide updates in

  • a timely manner where required.

  • Ensure the purchase requisitions are correct and ready to be handed over to the Spot

  • Buyers and Requisitioned.

  • Update purchase requests with missing or incomplete information.

  • Work with requesters to complete "Free Text", drawings, technical specifications, lead

  • time, quantities ensuring the right buying channel are selected.

  • Engaged people for sustainable performance
