Adecco are looking for an experienced procurement officer to join our well established client based in Stoke. This is a temporary role for 4 months initially but could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right person. Full time working hours Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm, flexible if needed (35 hours per week). Hourly rate of pay from £14.83ph. The role will involve either working on site or from home. Applicants must have experience of working in the procurement sector. Duties will involve answering queries via email and telephone, following the tender process from start to finish, evaluating costs and making recommendations. Immediate start required.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good IT skills including Microsoft packages

  • Must be self motivated and organised

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Able to liaise with contractors

  • Positive and outgoing attitude
