Adecco Worcester is recruiting for a Product Ambassador to join our Tewkesbury based client on a Permanent basis. Our client is a UK subsidiary of an international business operating within the Construction industry; since the UK subsidiary's inception in 2015 it has already quadrupled in size with further market share to attain.


Our client is looking for a Product Ambassador to perform Telesales and Telemarketing duties in a niche targeting offering an innovative product into an unexploited market. Our client is an industry innovator needing to create demand for their product in the UK Market, so as the only Product Ambassador you will directly and noticeably affect the business as you succeed within the role: how many sales positions can say that?!


Duties:



  • Researching potential customers/prospects to populate the company's database and add to your call lists - the majority of these will be businesses.

  • Following up these potential prospects with qualifying calls: your main target will be to gather names/job titles and contact information.

  • Using the information you've gathered to prospect new business through telesales and telemarketing activities with the aim of spreading brand awareness and ideally engaging the decision maker.

  • Speaking with decision makers with enthusiasm; using the small window to communicate the unique benefits and features of the product. Because of the nature of this industry, you'll not just be 'another' cold caller in a niche market - you'll really have something to talk about!

  • In addition to this you will be involved with attending industry exhibitions, assisting with product demonstrations and assisting with the storeroom if required. You will not be restricted to your job description in this business, so if you show promise in other areas these could be incorporated into your role in the future. These additional duties should encompass around 25% of your role.



The person:



  • You'll be an excellent communicator with a gregarious nature, speed and energy.

  • Resilient and conscientious: you'll be making volume calls for a few small wins (high value products) so you'll need to be able to persevere and enjoy making one large value sale rather than volume small value sales.

  • You'll be excited by the Construction industry and able to pick up the technical lingo/jargon to speak with credibility and enthusiasm. Any prior experience within the Construction Industry (even in a lower-level role) will give you a distinct advantage.

  • You'll have had experience handling volumes of calls, ideally outbound but our client will consider inbound experience. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, but this is not essential for the right person.

  • Flexible in approach to working: you'll never be expected to work overtime but it would appeal to our client if you're happy to flex your hours to meet prospect's availability if required.


In return our client will provide:



  • A very competitive salary of £25,000 per annum with uncapped commission (and an OTE of £33,000).

  • 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays.

  • Working hours of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Our client offer a flexible approach to working where, if your prospect can't speak until 5.30pm, they'd be happy for you to flex your hours to 10am-6pm for that day. Our client doesn't clock watch and they provide trust and respect to all staff!

  • Bespoke product training, company training in the overseas Head Office plus Company Conferences 2-3 times per year where international travel is provided by the business (plus 'down time' to enjoy the country you're in!).

  • An environment which is not high pressure with harsh/unattainable targets.
