JOB TITLE: Product Analyst
LOCATION: Remote working with some travel to the office in Sussex required
PAY RATE: £300 per day Umbrella
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 months rolling contract
IR35 STATUS: Inside



The Role


This role is responsible for ensuring that the OCC programme's products are accurately determined (as features and stories), they set out the necessary criteria and quality standards and in addition ensure they are appropriately planned to meet the required milestones. This includes ensuring that they are properly documented to meet partner organisations requirements to meet the user stories and they support on boarding.



Tasks and responsibilities



  • Ensure clarity in the definition of the features and ensure the correct standards are in place to drive quality of the products

  • Support the determination and definition of the minimum viable product, and support the prioritisation of user stories in context of the product.

  • Understand user stories and their authors; can identify who they are and what their needs are, based on evidence. Support the translation of user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet these needs.

  • Co-ordinate the work of the business analysts in understanding and capturing the relevant working processes, data flows triggers and staff engagement of relevant areas to support the prioritised Use Cases. This will enable you to determine a number of quality criteria.

  • Acquire a knowledge of products or services to develop a product roadmap in line with the User Story and Case prioritisation.



Essential Criteria



  • Qualified to practitioner level, or above, in programme management (MSP for example)

  • Qualified to practitioner level, or above, in project management (Prince2 or APM for example)

  • Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working with in a programme supporting a transformational change programme

  • Extensive knowledge of agile programme and project management, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent.

  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

  • Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement.

  • Should have an appreciation of the relationship between the Social Care and individual health provider and commissioning organisations.

  • Has knowledge and experience of working with NHS Continuing Healthcare

  • Member of relevant professional body

  • Ability to form highly developed and successful working relationships with colleagues both internal and external to the organisation

  • Ability to lead and manage delivery of projects to successful completion

  • Excellent management, planning and organisation skills
