Location: Harlow

Salary/Rate: £25,000 - £30,000 + competitive Bonus Structure

Package: Negotiable dependent upon experience

Type: Permanent


Adecco are currently recruiting for a large corporate business in Harlow, working within a team of specialists to maximise the potential from the portfolio of brands the Product Manager will be overseeing.

The Product Manager is required to manage brands within the Software BU including new brands coming into our client's business, with direct ownership for certain vendors, with the aim to maximise the sales volumes and profit and minimise any risks within your portfolio for our client and their stakeholders.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • To manage product category/vendors

  • To work with the director to manage operational plans within your brands, in order to meet and exceed the agreed performance objectives

  • Work with key customers and sales staff to train on new products and launch marketing promotions.

  • Strong communicator - Ensure communication of all relevant information relating to products, promotions & strategies is delivered to all appropriate stakeholders

  • Liaison Manager for the brand

  • Monthly forecasting

  • Offer a first-class service to customers and colleagues across the business

  • Manage the buy in from both the Internal and External sales teams to the brands

  • Take ownership of vendor issues and look for process and efficiency improvements

  • Organise, manage and attend key industry trade show events in the UK

Experience, Skills & Aptitude:

  • Proven experience within product management/business management

  • Experience in the IT Hardware or Software B2B markets with a vendor, distributor or corporate re-seller.

  • Ambitious, target-driven individual with proven track record of achieving company targets

  • A strong commercial awareness

  • Experience in Consumer Electronics field would be of a major advantage

  • Elements of Marketing experience would be of an advantage

  • Excellent Negotiation and Communication skills

  • Excellent numeric ability (including competency with MS Excel)

  • Strong influencing skills
