I have an exciting role with Thames Valley and Hampshire Police for a Product Manager. You will lead the operation, development, support and performance of a system or function within the joint Integrated Systems Support Department (ISS). You will lead and line manage a team to deliver improved functionality, high performance and efficient business processes and practices. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to play a vital part in delivering better systems and products, enabling us to manage risk more effectively and help our officers and staff to "walk the digital beat". Join our team and see your contributions enable more modern, sophisticated policing. The role is mostly remote with travel to the Kidlington or Netley offices when needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Niche Records Management system - the primary information database, used to record crimes and essential information around public safety, and manage our investigations

  • Contact Management Platform - the bespoke Command & Control system used to record contact from members of the public and manage the deployment of their officers and staff in response

  • Pronto - the digital "pocket notebook" application which enables their officers and staff to complete more of their work outside of a police station, in our communities

  • Data Quality & Digital Support - the specialist team responsible for managing the quality and integrity of the data contained in their systems, and supporting business analysis and change across the Integrated System Department

Your experience will include:

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, particularly with regard to delivering across multiple organisations or services

  • Proven leadership of people and performance

  • Experience of effective resource planning in order to meet demand and deliver on agreed outcomes

  • The ability to manage conflicting priorities across teams and systems

As part of the Thames Valley Police family you will enjoy a fantastic range of benefits including 22-30 days annual leave per annum pro-rata for part time (plus Bank Holidays), flexible working conditions, a wide range of lifestyle discounts, career development opportunities and have the option to join a local government pension scheme.
