Working for a leading business, a new exciting opportunity has arisen tojoin a friendly busy team supporting the management and marketing teams.


Duties will include:


* Provide customer information in response to enquiries about products and services.


* Provide support for sales team around customers, orders, quotations, and problem-solving quality issues.


* Support the operations manager and marketing team with marketing activities and projects.


* CRM database management


* Collate content for marketing communications assistant to enable the implementation of e-marketing campaigns and creation/revision of other marketing materials


* Co-ordinate and distribute marketing materials and product samples as requested by the sales team


* Carry out market research, desk research & customer surveys


* Maintain product and competitor files


* Manage portfolio tender opportunities


* Assist with event organisation (exhibitions, study days and internal meetings);


* Support and attend product launches and training courses;


* Other marketing and sales support activity as required.


Essential skills required:



  • A levels or equivalent

  • Knowledge of relevant office software applications & procedures

  • Use of IT packages such as Microsoft Office Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint

  • Numeric and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills, verbal and written

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Organisational skills & ability to meet deadlines

  • Able to work under own initiative


Desirable:



  • Degree or equivalent qualification

  • Ideally studying marketing, business studies or similar

  • Knowledge of business to business marketing principles and practice

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Medical product/industry knowledge

  • Driving licence
